eTraining - Printed (Adobe PDF) Courses
Electronic training is the written narrative from stand and deliver courses, combined with embedded PowerPoint. It is self paced and taken with or without the aide of a dedicated instructor.
There are no other courses like this in the MAX market today.
Special Pricing
Versions:
- All courses have been updated for MAX Exact v4.0 and apply to MAX v5.0. We are working on incorporating all the latest MAX v5.0 functionality changes.
- All courses are constantly being updated as the Exact MAX Software changes.
eTraining Objectives:
- Utilize available technology (e-mail, e-groups, etc.) for on-site, self study of MAX and related APICS concepts.
- Lengthen the time frame for training to several weeks rather than several days.
- Utilize adult learning concepts (reading, writing, simulations, etc.) and not just instructor lead instruction.
- Utilize one-on-one instructor contact for specific questions and issues.
- Eliminate travel and related costs of time away from the office.
- Minimize disruption caused by employee re-assignment and turnover.
eTraining Assumptions:
- Participant PC's and/or network are equipped for 24 hour access to the Internet.
- Participants have access to a web browser (i.e., Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) and the ability to read files created in Adobe.
- Participants are current users of Exact Software, NA and have the system available to them on the network (at the office only, not expected to be at participant's home due to Exact licensing agreements).
- Participants are familiar with the Exact Software, NA interface and MAX navigation including the use of double click function, drop and drag, table controls, etc.
- Each participant has their own MAX Training database. Integrated accounting system has been disabled for the training database.
- Participants will engage in entire course, whether it applies to them specifically in their role or not.
- Participants will engage a minimum of three to four hours per week on assignments, including thinking, reading and writing.
- MAX Exact documentation is available and easily accessed by all participants.
All Micro Manufacturing Systems (MMS) Courses:
- Use of techniques which support the Standard MAX Implementation Model, the Generic Single Plant Manufacturing Control System Model (APICS), the Extended Supply Chain Model (APICS) and generally accepted MAX operating procedures. It is expected that participants will support these standards in their implementation. MMS reserves the right to decline dialogue in areas that do not follow these guidelines.
- Use the standard MAX from Exact Software, NA modules (e.g., core modules).
