Why Us

Why Now? | How Do We Produce Value?

A down-sized economy, where middle managers are caught without the right education and or experience, and an outsourcing craze, which contributes further to the loss of manufacturing jobs, breeds many startup consulting groups. To the untrained eye, there is little difference between being unemployed and being in between consulting projects. Prudent exploration however often reveals the lack of accomplishment, lack of referrals (i.e., past, successful engagements) and lack of proven offers.

Founded in 1990, we have proven to be a trusted source for both on-site and remote consulting help for our clients. You found us. There is no need to incur more cost by looking further.

Why now?

Supply chain systems compete on several dimensions including information, financial, material and knowledge. This is true whether you are considering a system for the four-walls of your facility, or the entire supply chain (i.e., raw material provider to end user).

A key element to the information flow is planning. Planning is more critical due to the reduced levels of resources in the chain. One of the roles of today's information system is to replace the resources of the past (both labor and materials). How developed is your planning on the demand side (i.e., your organization outward to the end user) and the supply side (i.e., you organization backward to the ultimate supplier)?

For financial reasons, labor is being squeezed out of manufacturing organizations in the United States. Maximizing the productivity of available capacity, leveraging the capacity of others in your supply chain, or in other words, learning how to do more with less is now a key part of operating a business. There is more to accomplishing this then simply reducing head count and waiting for the breakdowns to occur.

Although it may seem that the materials flow is the most obvious of the flows, it may be the most misunderstood. Efficiency in your supply chain cannot simply be solved by increasing inventory across the board. Knowing where inventory is required and where it is not, is an important criteria for designing today's systems.

Business conditions are constantly changing. Your industry and competitors are constantly changing. Is your organization changing? Don't wait for the situation to worsen or the ultimatum to come from above. There is no time like the present to get started.

How Do We Produce Value?

Value is an assessment one makes regarding the significance and scarcity of help.1 We produce value by aligning business and operational strategies with business practices and technology for our clients. We also produce value though educating and training our clients' key performers on the fundamentals of supply chain management.

We are also a fresh set of eyes, who through the use of our versatile experiences and education, promote the invention of, or revision to, practices. These practices produce results that take care of the concerns of our clients.

Are we scarce? Our successful clients think so. We often exceed the expectations of new accounts as previous expectations were set by our competitors. This does not simply occur in one business role either. We constantly hear that as consultants, listeners, speakers, instructors, designers, coaches, mentors, etc., we outperform our competition. As individual performers we compete in the top 5% of wage earners in the United States.
